Update on Worldwide-Persecuted Chris ans
As we in America face our own challenges for religious freedom, we
CANNOT forget our brothers & sisters in Christ around the world.
(Excerpts from Jay Sekulow, American Counsel for Law & Jus ce Chief Counsel)
The violent and extreme persecu on of Chris ans has escalated across the globe at
an unthinkable rate. We have seen the mass murder of worshiping Chris ans, the
Imprisonment of pastors, and believers ordered to flee or face horrific punishment.
Now, some of the world's worst persecu ng na ons and human rights abusers have
infiltrated the U.N. Human Rights Council. It is MORE CRITICAL THAN EVER THAT WE
PRAY!
TODAY, we are submi ng 8 formal reviews of persecu on and human rights viola ons
to the U.N. (Universal Periodic Reviews or UPRs).
In Mozambique, we highlight rising Islamic extremism and violent a acks on
Chris ans, including on Good Friday, human trafficking, and trafficking of
children's organs.
In Singapore, we detail how a blasphemy law can lead to imprisonment of Chris-
ans for something as simple as a sound or gesture.
We expose how the radical Islamic militant group Boko Haram (which has been
responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent Chris ans) is expanding its
evil into Niger.
And we're also shining a light on the plight of Chris ans in Somalia facing egre-
gious radical Islamic persecu on.
As we fight at the U.N. for Chris ans enduring atrocious persecu on worldwide, we
need you to take ac on with us.
