Hello church family, So we are gearing up for the summer events and one big event we are doing is a booth at Lapeer Days. We will need plenty of volunteers for the setup, running of the booth and teardown. Lapeer Days officially starts Friday 08/18/17 and runs to Sunday 08/20/17. We will be se ng up Thursday a er 5pm. We will need volunteers for face painters, prayer team, raffle team and a few other posi ons to be determined. No one needs to commit to being there the en re day or for the en re event, but the more volunteers we have the easier and smoother the event will flow. On top of this we all make up our church and the more of us Lapeer sees, the be er idea we give the community about who we are. Also we need to con nue working on ge ng dona ons for the raffle and some other free- bee giveaways. So if you want to donate or seek out a store for gi cards, bikes, stroller, electronics or whatever else they are willing to donate feel free. With this said please seek me out so we can stay organized, not "terrorizing," our local stores for stuff over and over again. We will adopt a golf ou ng pla orm soon, to keep up to date. The vision for this event is to show the love of Jesus to the community of Lapeer, being generous with the prizes and freebees, while taking the opportuni es given to minister and also helping let people know about FCFC and who we are.
